He has experience as a box safety, free safety, and cornerback. In his lone season with the Dolphins, Melifonwu recorded a career-high 53 tackles and an interception off of Josh Allen. While a signing isn't imminent, the Seahawks are monitoring Melifonwu's situation as they prepare for training camp in late July.
